Grant County Development Corporation Announced Its Newly Hired Executive Director

The Grant County Devlopment Corporation announced its newly hired Executive Director on Monday October 5th. Krista Atyeo-Gortmaker has been hired as the new Executive Director for the Grant County Development Corporation. Ms. Atyeo-Gortmaker will be replacing Bobbie Bohlen who served as Executive Director for 9 years. Bohlen announced her resignation from the position in August. The hiring and interview process started in September and more than 30 applicants were reviewed from around the Region. On Friday July 24th the Grant County Development Corporation board of directors met to accept Bobbie Bohlen’s resignation as Executive Director of Grant County’s economic development entity. Bohlen has served as the full time Director since September of 2011, when she succeeded George Smith’s long tenure in this position. Bohlen has been instrumental in numerous projects that have improved the economic, educational, and all-around way of life in Grant County.
