Housing
FACILITATING HOME BUILDERS
GCDC commissioned the Housing Study of August 2022. This survey documented very low housing availability in Grant County. A Request for Proposal was published in Fall 2022 asking for developer interest in building homes. The process is nearing completion and clearing the path for homes to be built in Milbank.

Education
Students are learning in up-to-the-minute programs in new and modern settings throughout their learning careers. The public school campus includes K-12 education with the Milbank Elementary that opened a new building in the Fall of 2020 and is constructing a new Career and Technical Building for the Fall 2024.

Healthcare
Avera provides local healthcare with on-site doctors and nurses for all ages – from birth through a lifetime. The facility opened in Spring 2018 with a full service healthcare campus to meet all the community needs.
