Frandsen Bank & Trust Presents Grant to Support Grow Grant County Initiative

The Grant County Development Corporation (GCDC) recently received an $8,750 grant from Frandsen Bank & Trust through the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines Member Impact Fund program.

The funding will support Grow Grant County, a GCDC initiative focused on strengthening the local economy by supporting small businesses, expanding workforce opportunities, and addressing key community needs such as child care availability and affordable housing.

The Grow Grant County initiative works to create a stronger local business environment while helping the community attract and retain workers. Efforts under the program include supporting entrepreneurship, encouraging business growth, and developing solutions to workforce challenges that impact employers across Grant County.

“We are grateful for Frandsen Bank & Trust’s continued support of economic development efforts in Grant County,” said GCDC Executive Director Traci Stein. “Partnerships like this help us invest in initiatives that strengthen our workforce, support local businesses, and improve quality of life in our community.”

The Member Impact Fund program allows community banks to partner with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines to provide grants that support housing, workforce, and community development initiatives in the communities they serve.

GCDC appreciates Frandsen Bank & Trust’s commitment to supporting local economic growth and investing in the future of Grant County.
